“Calm down, you’re like a troop of Herald Monkeys, heheh,“ the old story teller chuckled.
“Do the one about those Sand Soldiers from the desert!“ One of the boys gleamed with eyes of wonder.
“No do the Demon Boy one!“ A girl roared striking her fist up, sending a small cloud of flame into the air.
“I want the one about the lady who turns the waves into a tide of icy flower petals,“ a more timid girl said, smiling nervously into her shoulder.
“Hm, all very strong suggestions I admit,“ he said scratching his chin with his finger and thumb. “But how about a new one! One your parents don’t even know about, heh,“ he grinned deviously, as if colluding with the children.
The children gasped. “I don’t believe you, my Daddy has read every book in the whole library!“ A scholarly boy, in a short blue academia robe and glasses, protested.
“Ohoho! I’m sure he has, but this story exists in only one library in the whole world - and it hasn’t even ended yet.“ He replied, with a sincere smile. “This story begins with a young man, who wants nothing more than to set sail…“

Nonpareil is a serial light novel style story. Follow Finnegan’s journey as you discover the world alongside him, with illustrations and background music to enhance your immersion into the world.
I currently write every word, draw every picture and custom web asset, compose every track you hear, and do all the web design. As a result I also can’t 100% guarantee a regular release (as I’m studying and working part-time) but I shall try my best.
One day I would love to hire proffessional artists, composers, and web-designers, to bring my vision to life properly. I’d love to have art like Ibuki Satsuki, music like Brian Tyler’s AC: Black Flag score, and a website like VIZ, however we must start somewhere :)
As sites like Web Novel, Wattpad, and Royal Road don’t allow for the freedom to express the story how I want, and don’t permit redirecting users off platform (understandably so), I won’t be posting it there.
